SESSION GUIDE

FOR BOOKING YOUR

PORTRAIT SESSION WITH US!

Plan to arrive for your session with your make up and hair ready to your liking.

We recommend natural soft waves and natural soft makeup with even skin tones, accented eyes, and cheekbones. Please avoid too much makeup, dark eyeshadows,  and highlighting on skin. Keep it more natural and clean, soft glam, dewy look. Dramatic lashes can look great in beauty portraits, however, we use different angles and shadows, thus we recommend a more natural look. 

When you arrive to the studio , we will prepare your first look. We will guide you through every step and pose. Throughout the session, I will show previews of the captured images in the back of my camera. If you would like SPECIFIC changes, please let us know, OUR GOAL IS THAT YOU LOVE YOUR IMAGES.

After the session, we will email you the best proofs from your session, and you will select your favorite ones ( number of images is based on the session option chosen). YOU WILL RECEIVE THE IMAGES 3 WEEKS AFTER THE SESSION.

HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR PORTRAITS

Scheduling a mani-pedi treatment a day or two in advance is a GOOD IDEA. Soft natural, neutral, pastel colors always look great especially for the close-up shots of hands a belly. 

 

A FEW THINGS TO AVOID

  • I recommend avoiding strong fake/spray tanning, excessive bronzers, and shimmers., unless you have great experience with spray tan in the past. Often uneven skin tones from fake tans an appear more orange in camera. 

  • Try not to wear tight underwear on the day of your session or your comfort during the hair & make up session.

  • We recommend to arrive at your photoshoot in loose clothing to prevent body marks and feel comfortable during the Hair & makeup process. 

  • The day of the photo shoot is a perfect day to plan a dinner or lunch with your partner or friends, you will look and feel fabulous.

WHAT TO BRING FOR YOUR PORTRAITS

We have an extensive collection of gowns, dresses, bodysuits, and accessories. They are all available to you to choose from during your session.  

We are constantly adding new items to our wardrobe.

PLEASE PLAN TO BRING THE FOLLOWING ITEMS WITH YOU TO YOUR SESSION:

  • Bras: simple strapless bra (skin tone or nude). Target and Amazon have many great options. 

​

Lace bra & panties set, if that is a part of any of your looks or if you plan to wear one of our sheer dresses where the undergarments show.

  • Plain underwear (skin tone and black).

  • Jeans: if you plan a denim look bring a pair non-maternity jeans, they will be left unbuttoned. 

  • Bodysuits: if you prefer to bring your own (we have bodysuits available in our studio)

  • Statement pieces: jewelry, leather jackets, hats, if that is part of your desired looks.

  • Hats are also available in our studio wardrobe.

    PREPARE YOUR PARTNER FOR THE PORTRAIT SESSION

    If your partner is joining your for the portrait session, you can  prepare a few of the following items, depending on the looks you had planned:

    ​

    • Jeans (simple dark or light, or white)

    • White buttoned shirt

    • Black, white t-shirt ( casual look)

    • If you plan a glam look, a suit will look great​, shoes to match

    • If you plan an Earthy tones look, brown, greens tones will look great, as well as linen.

    • Shoes that match, if comfortable can be barefoot for most looks.
